What OP Ch Means
“OP” and “Ch” flashing on the DRF36C100SR panel is an option error between the panel and the main board. The two boards disagree about the model option setting, which usually follows a board replacement.
Common Causes of OP Ch
- Replacement board with the wrong option code
- Board memory corrupted
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Cycle power once. If OP Ch appeared after a board was replaced, contact whoever replaced it.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Setting the option code is done through the service mode with the model code table in Dacor’s service manual.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
