The DTT36M876 is the Modernist Pro rangetop: six burners from 9,000 to 22,000 BTU in a 36-inch body that sits on a counter over drawers or a cabinet. Dacor’s rangetop user guides print no code table, so diagnosis is by behavior: which burner, which setting, and whether it clicks. A burner that keeps clicking with […]
Dacor HRTP486
The HRTP486 widens the Heritage Pro rangetop to 48 inches. When one of these moves to a new home on a different gas supply, the conversion is the first thing we check. Igniter and switch repairs are done from the top once the burner is removed.
Dacor DTT36M974
The DTT36M974 preceded the current DTT36M876.Its burners and ignition follow the same pattern as the newer rangetop. Uneven flames around a burner ring usually mean clogged ports, a cleaning job; a flame that is yellow and tall suggests a gas type or orifice mismatch.
Dacor DYRTP366
The DYRTP366 is the Discovery-series 36-inch rangetop. Clogged burner ports give uneven, lifting flames and are cleared by careful cleaning as described in the manual. If a burner still burns unevenly after cleaning, the orifice and valve are checked.
Dacor DTT48M876
Dacor’s DTT48M876 spreads its Pro burners across 48 inches. On LP homes, flames that are too tall and lazy usually mean the rangetop was not converted, or the regulator was not set for propane. Valve stiffness is serviced, not lubricated by the owner; sprays can damage the valve seals.
Dacor DYCT365G
The DYCT365G came in black, stainless and white variants. A burner that lights and then goes out when the knob is released is the most common complaint, and on many cooktops that points at the burner’s flame safety or the gas supply rather than the igniter. We check gas pressure and the burner assembly before […]
Dacor DTT48M976
The DTT48M976 pairs six burners with a 1,400-watt electric griddle, all on a 120-volt, 15-amp supply. A griddle that stays cold while the burners work is diagnosed at the griddle element and its control. Grease finds its way around griddles over time, and we check the surrounding wiring while the griddle is out.
Dacor DTCT365G
The DTCT365G is the 36-inch Distinctive gas cooktop. Burner caps that have been overheated or dropped can warp slightly, and a warped cap gives a lopsided flame that looks like a valve problem. We check caps first because they are the cheapest fix.
Dacor DTT36T960G
Two 22,000 BTU burners make the DTT36T960G one of the stronger 36-inch Dacor rangetops. High-output burners tolerate little debris in their ports, and a flame that is short on one side is usually a cleaning issue. Its user guide covers burner care in detail, and following it prevents many service calls.
Dacor DTCT466G
The DTCT466G is the widest cooktop in the Distinctive DTCT line. Many burner switches feeding one spark module mean that a worn switch shows up as clicking across the whole cooktop. Chipped grates are replaced for safety, since sharp edges and unstable pans are a hazard.
