Dacor DHD36U990W

The DHD36U990W is the 36-inch chimney hood. A backdraft damper that sticks closed makes the hood loud and weak at the same time, and it is checked from inside the chimney. A blower that does not start at all is traced through the control and the motor.

Dacor DHI361

The DHI361 is the 36-inch member of Dacor’s Millennia island hoods, which ran up to 60 inches wide (DHI602). Hoods of this age mostly need filters, switches and occasional blower motors. Ceiling-mounted hoods are heavy, and we work on them with the hood supported.

Dacor DHD48U990W

The DHD48U990W spans 48 inches over wide ranges. Poor capture at the edges usually means the hood is mounted too high or the ducting restricts flow. We check mounting height against the installation guide.

Dacor RNHP3618

The RNHP3618 is a Renaissance wall-mount hood, paired in many kitchens with Renaissance ranges and rangetops. After years of use, the blower motor and switches are the usual repairs. We confirm the exact blower in the installation before ordering parts.

Dacor DHD36U990I

Island hoods have no wall behind them to guide smoke, so the DHD36U990I is more sensitive to cross-drafts from windows and doors. Weak capture is not always a blower issue. We check the blower speed and the room conditions before recommending a part.

Dacor RNHE36

The RNHE36 is another Renaissance wall-mount hood family, alongside the RNHP. Fan speeds that do not change point at the speed control, and flickering lights at sockets or wiring. Broken filter clips are small parts that keep filters from falling.

Dacor DHD42U990I

The DHD42U990I is a wider island hood. Grease that drips from the filters means they are saturated and need cleaning more often. Blower noise that changes with speed is usually the blower wheel or motor bearings.
