The DYF36BFTS was sold in left- and right-hinge versions with separate handle kits. Loose handles are simple to fix, but they are often the first sign the door has taken a knock and may need re-leveling. Temperature complaints are handled with the same airflow-first approach as other Dacor built-ins.
Dacor EF36LNFSS
The EF36LNFSS belongs to the Epicure 36-inch refrigerators that Dacor documented in a single manual for its 2- and 3-door models. Broken drawer tracks and failed ice makers are common owner complaints and are straightforward parts repairs. A warm fresh-food section is traced through the fans and defrost before any sealed-system work.
Dacor EF36BNNFSS
Dacor’s brochure describes the EF36BNNFSS as a 36-inch bottom-freezer refrigerator. Bottom-freezer drawers put weight on their slides, and a drawer that no longer closes squarely lets frost form quickly. We check the slides and gasket first on any frost complaint.
Dacor IF36BNDF
The IF36BNDF is part of Dacor’s integrated IF line, meant to sit flush with cabinetry. Custom panels add weight, and hinge adjustment keeps integrated doors sealing. Slow temperature recovery after loading groceries is normal to a point; a refrigerator that never recovers needs checking.
Dacor DYF42SBIWR
The DYF42SBIWR is the professional-handle 42-inch side-by-side, with the same 24 cu. ft. capacity as the DRS425300SR. Its manual notes that Energy Saver mode is enabled by default and that the dispenser lamp turns on only while dispensing unless the Lighting setting is changed. Those defaults explain several “is it broken?” calls we get about […]
Dacor DRR24G7400
The DRR24G7400 is Dacor’s current undercounter beverage refrigerator. Undercounter units depend on front ventilation, and one that has been installed or modified without the specified clearances will struggle to cool. We check the ventilation path and the kick plate before anything else.
Dacor DYF42BNDI
The DYF42BNDI was designed to disappear behind custom cabinet panels. Panel weight and mounting affect hinges and seals over time, and a door that no longer seals is the first thing we check on a warm refrigerator of this type. Built-ins of this age still respond well to fan, defrost and ice maker repairs.
Dacor DYF48BNDI
The DYF48BNDI is the 48-inch custom-panel Discovery built-in. Built-in refrigerators breathe through a grille at the top or bottom, and a condenser clogged with dust makes the compressor work much harder. Cleaning the condenser is often the cheapest fix for a refrigerator that runs warm and loud.
Dacor DYF42BIWS
The DYF42BIWS is a Discovery built-in, covered by the same use and care manual as the 48-inch DYF48BIWS. Door closers that no longer pull the door shut let warm air in and are a common repair. We check the closer and gasket along with any cooling complaint.
Dacor DRS425300SR
The DRS425300SR fits a classic 41-1/2-inch or full 42-inch built-in opening. Ice chute and dispenser problems are the most common calls on built-in side-by-sides of this kind. Its manual also documents Cooling Off mode, which stops the compressor while the lights stay on.
