What F Means
“F” on a burner display of the RNTT365GB means a flame abnormality: the safety sensor for that burner detected an abnormal flame. The cooktop shuts that burner off.
Common Causes of F
- Burner cap or ring misassembled, distorting the flame
- Flame sensor dirty or failing
- Gas supply problem affecting flame shape
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Check that the burner ring and cap are correctly assembled and seated, then reset the burner as the manual describes. If “F” comes back, stop using that burner and call for service.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Flame sensing and gas valve checks involve the gas system and must be done by a qualified technician.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
