A 46-inch cooktop is an unusual size, and the SGM466 is the widest in Dacor’s Preference SGM series. Replacing it with a different model often means changing the countertop cutout, so repairs are usually preferred.
Igniters on older cooktops can crack, which gives weak or no sparks; they are replaced individually.
