What C-d0 Means
On a Samsung-era Dacor range, the Modernist, Contemporary and Transitional DOP models, C-d0 means a key on the oven control has read as held down for a minute. The 48-inch gas range manual simply calls it a control pad malfunction. Spills from the cooktop above are the everyday trigger on a range.
Common Causes of C-d0
- Water or grease on the touch control from cooking on the burners
- Touch or OLED control board reading a stuck key
- Connector between the touch board and the main board
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Wipe the control area and the touch display dry, especially after a pot has boiled over, and make sure no utensil rests on it. Turn the mode knob to Off and start again. Dacor lists a local service call only if the code continues after that.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Reaching the control on a range means removing the backguard or control panel, with gas and 240-volt supply nearby on dual-fuel models.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
