What C-F2 Means
C-F2 is the touch-control communication code on Dacor ranges. On most DOP ranges it is the link between the main board and the touch display; on the 30-inch induction range DOP30T940IS Dacor defines it between the touch and the sub board.
Common Causes of C-F2
- Touch display connector loosened
- Moisture reaching the display area from the cooktop
- Touch board or receiving board failure
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Return the knobs to Off and restart. A breaker reset of 30 seconds or more is the next step. Keep steam and spills away from the display, since moisture around the control area is a frequent contributor.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- The display assembly is in the backguard or control fascia and must be removed carefully to avoid cracking the glass.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
