Dacor DRF487500AP

The DRF487500AP adds Whisky Ball Ice and an AutoFill Pitcher to the 48-inch built-in French door. Those features add water valves and fill lines, and a pitcher that stops filling is often a water supply or valve issue. The Type A Cooling Off combination in Dacor’s manual, AutoFill Pitcher, Whisky Ball Ice and Control Lock, […]

Dacor DRR24980

Each Dacor column has its own compressor and evaporator, so a DRR24980 refrigerator column can fail while the freezer column beside it keeps running. Push-To-Open Door Assist is a motorized opener that can stop working independently of cooling. The column manual documents Cooling Off mode, which shows “oF” in the temperature display. It is exited […]

Dacor DRR30980

The DRR30980 adds iQ Remote View cameras and an interior water dispenser to the column design. When the camera image stops updating, the issue is usually Wi-Fi or the app; the refrigerator keeps cooling regardless. A slow dispenser is often a filter due for replacement, which the column flags with its filter indicator.

Dacor DRR36980

At 21.6 cu. ft., the DRR36980 is the largest Dacor column refrigerator. Paired columns sit side by side, and heat from a failing condenser fan in one column can affect how hard the neighbor works. A column that drifts warm is checked at its condenser, fan and evaporator before the sealed system.

Dacor DRZ18980

The DRZ18980 is Dacor’s narrowest column freezer. Its manual documents Cocktail Ice and Standard Ice selections and a Cooling Off mode entered with Cocktail Ice, Standard Ice and Filter Reset, which is easy to trigger while cleaning the panel. Frost on packages usually means the door is not sealing fully.

Dacor DRZ24980

The DRZ24980 is often paired with a DRR24980 refrigerator column. Frost that builds on the rear wall of the freezer, rather than on packages, points at the automatic defrost system. Defrost repairs mean emptying the freezer, so we plan them with the owner.

Dacor DRZ30980

The DRZ30980 is the 30-inch column freezer. When its temperature rises, the compressor, condenser fan and defrost system are checked in turn; its separate compressor means the refrigerator column next to it is not a clue either way. Water under the freezer usually comes from the ice maker fill line or a blocked defrost drain.

Dacor DRF365300AP

The DRF365300AP is Dacor’s 36-inch built-in French door, 83-3/8 inches tall, with a MetalCool interior and a FreshZone drawer. It ships panel-ready and takes either custom panels or Dacor’s silver or graphite stainless door kits, and heavy custom panels are a frequent cause of doors that sag or seal poorly. Its manual explains Cooling Off […]

Dacor DRZ36980

The largest Dacor column freezer, the DRZ36980, has a wide door that relies on its gasket and hinge adjustment to seal. A compressor that never stops often means warm air is getting in. We check the seal with the door closed on a strip of paper before looking further.

Dacor DRF367500AP

The DRF367500AP adds a stainless steel-wrapped interior (SteelCool) and dual ice makers, including Cocktail Ice, to the 36-inch built-in French door. Two ice makers means two fill paths, and a frozen fill tube on one of them is a common reason only one keeps producing. A warming fresh-food section with a cold freezer is an […]
