What F:12 Means
F:12 is the fill problem on DDW24S and RDW24 dishwashers. The flow meter counted too few pulses, fewer than 80 in 60 seconds or not the expected total within 255 seconds, and the program stops.
Common Causes of F:12
- Supply valve closed or low pressure
- Inlet valve or filter screen clogged
- Flow meter failure
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Check the water supply valve is open and that there is water pressure at the sink. Restart the cycle.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Testing the inlet valve and flow meter is done at the machine’s base with water and power connected.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
