What LC Means
LC on a Samsung-era Dacor dishwasher (DDW24M999, DDW24T999, DDW24T998, DDW24G9000AP) is a leakage check. Water has reached the base of the machine where the leak sensor sits, and the dishwasher stops filling and pumps out.
Common Causes of LC
- Loose inlet or drain connection under the tub
- Leaking pump, heater seal or sump gasket
- Oversudsing from the wrong detergent spilling into the base
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Dacor’s instructions: close the water supply valve, then switch the dishwasher’s circuit breaker off, and contact the installer or a service provider. Do not keep restarting it. Soaking up water on the floor is fine; leave the base panel on.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Finding the leak means pulling the dishwasher out of the cabinet with water and 120-volt wiring disconnected.
- The base pan must be dried before the sensor will reset; restarting too soon just repeats LC.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
