The EG486 is a 48-inch slide-in gas cooktop, and Dacor published a separate instruction sheet on placing and using the accessory griddle on it and on the ER-series ranges. Using the griddle against those instructions can overheat surrounding parts.
Ignition service follows the standard Dacor approach: switches, igniters, then the spark module.
