Dacor’s DOB30M977D stacks two 4.8 cu. ft. convection cavities in a 30-inch cutout and draws 50 amps at 240 or 208 volts. With two ovens sharing one control and one cooling system, a stopped cooling fan (code C-A2) or an overheated board (C-31) can shut both down even though only one was in use.
When a single cavity misbehaves, we test that cavity’s sensor and elements first, since each oven has its own. A service manual for the DOB30M977D series exists, which makes board-level diagnosis on this model more predictable than on many built-ins.
