What F:41 Means
F:41 records that the water temperature rose less than 5°C (41°F) in ten minutes of heating. The cycle continues, and Dacor notes it is only shown in the service menu, so owners usually notice cold, poorly cleaned dishes rather than the code.
Common Causes of F:41
- Heating element failed
- Thermistor giving false readings
- Low water level or circulation problem
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Run hot water at the kitchen tap before starting a cycle so the dishwasher fills hot. If dishes still come out cool and wet, book a check.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Dacor’s test for F:41 covers the element, thermistor, water level, circulation pump and control unit, all under the tub.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
