What C-F0 Means
C-F0 tells you the main control board and the sub board in the oven stopped talking to each other. Dacor describes it as communication between the Main and Sub PBA being interrupted; the oven cannot run a heating mode while that link is down.
Common Causes of C-F0
- A power surge or brownout that left the boards out of step
- Loose or heat-damaged connector on the harness between the two boards
- Main or sub board failure
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Press OFF and restart the oven. If C-F0 returns, turn the oven’s breaker off, leave it off for at least 30 seconds, then turn it back on, which is exactly the sequence Dacor prints. A code that comes back after a clean power cycle points at the boards or the harness between them.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Both boards are live at 240 volts and mounted inside the oven chassis; testing the harness is done with the oven pulled and power carefully managed.
- Swapping a board without checking the connector usually leaves the original cause in place.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
