What C-F6 Means
On the DOP30T940IS induction range, C-F6 means the main board and the sub board lost communication. Dacor uses a different number for this on the induction range than the C-F0 used on its gas and dual-fuel ranges.
Common Causes of C-F6
- Loose connector between main and sub board
- Surge damage
- Board failure
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Knobs to Off, restart, then a 30-second breaker reset if needed. That completes Dacor’s owner steps.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Board-to-board diagnosis on a 40-amp induction range is technician work.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
