What C-F5 Means
C-F5 is specific to the Dacor 30-inch induction range DOP30T940IS. Its manual defines it as a break in communication between the display and the sub board.
Common Causes of C-F5
- Display-to-sub-board cable loose
- Display board failure
- Sub board failure
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Turn the burner knobs to Off and restart the oven. If C-F5 persists, cut power for at least 30 seconds and restore it.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- An induction range has high-current inverter boards next to the control boards; they are not safe to probe with the range energized by an untrained person.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
