The DYO230’s manual describes a control lockout that is enabled by holding Cancel Upper for five seconds, and an owner who does this by accident sees an oven that refuses every key. Holding the same key again restores it.
For genuine failures, the lower oven is usually the one that needs a sensor or element first. We test each cavity separately.
